Municipal Corporation Commissioner Keerthi Chekuri said that the Occupancy Certificate would not be issued if the building were constructed, defying the approved plans.
The Commissioner inspected some buildings, who applied for Occupancy Certificate, using a laser measuring machine at Chandramoulinagar and gave instructions to the planning officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner clarified that multi-storeyed buildings must be constructed as per the prescribed plan approved by the municipal corporation and the occupancy certificate would be issued.
The Occupancy Certificate would not be issued if constructions were built in the set back portion and road widening portion. The OC certificate would not be issued if the height of the building exceeded the approved plan.
The town planning authorities were directed to remove drains or ramps constructed on roads blocking sewage. She also directed the officials to ensure that the rain water harvest pits worked efficiently. City planner Murthy and ACP Babu Rao were among those who accompanied the Commissioner.
