Director Sukumar’s daughter debut with Gandhi Tatha Chettu

Director Sukumar, who recently delivered the blockbuster film Pushpa 2, has another reason to celebrate. His daughter, Sukriti Veni Bandreddy, is all set to make her debut with the film Gandhi Tatha Chettu. The trailer of this film was launched by superstar Mahesh Babu through his social media.
Padmavati Malladi has directed the film, while Naveen Yerneni, Yalamanchili Ravishankar and Shesha Sindhu Rao have jointly produced it. Sukumar’s wife, Tabitha Sukumar, is presenting the film. Interestingly, Gandhi Tatha Chettu has already won awards and appreciation at several international film festivals. Sukriti Veni also received the Best Child Artist award for her performance.
The movie is set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 24, announced the makers. Mahesh Babu launched the trailer and said on his social media, “Happy to launch the trailer of #GandhiTathaChettu… Looks heartwarming and deeply touching… My best wishes to Sukriti and the entire team for their journey ahead.” The story revolves around a girl named Gandhi, who, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles, strives to protect her grandfather’s beloved tree and her village. The emotional narrative appears to be centered on how the girl follows the path of non-violence to achieve her goal. Sukumar himself plays a role in the film alongside his daughter Sukriti Veni.
