Don’t trust Jagan, Lokesh urges women

Must read

In a fiery statement, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh made a compelling case against Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, questioning his ability to serve the people given his alleged failure to address issues closer to home. “With folded hands, I appeal to all the women in the State not to trust Jagan, who has seemingly neglected the needs of his sister and mother,” Lokesh asserted.
He raised pertinent questions about Jagan’s claims of supporting his family, pointing out the apparent disconnect evidenced by his sister’s decision to join the Congress party. “If CM Jagan has truly prioritised his family’s welfare, why did his sister choose to align herself elsewhere?” Lokesh inquired.
Highlighting unfulfilled promises, Lokesh criticised Jagan’s track record on critical issues such as total prohibition and pension allocation for marginalised communities. “Despite grand assurances, Jagan has failed to deliver on his promises, leaving the public disillusioned and betrayed,” Lokesh remarked.
In a nostalgic nod to the TDP’s legacy under Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, Lokesh emphasized the former Chief Minister’s role in attracting industry to the State. “It was under Chandrababu Naidu’s stewardship that industries like Kia, Hero Motors, and HCL found a home in Andhra Pradesh,” he recalled, contrasting this with Jagan’s tenure.
Lokesh accused Jagan of exacerbating economic woes by hiking prices and rolling back welfare initiatives established during the TDP’s governance. “CM Jagan’s administration has been marked by soaring prices and a regression in social welfare, undoing the progress achieved under the TDP’s rule,” Lokesh lamented.
In a rallying call to the party faithful, Lokesh expressed gratitude to those who tirelessly worked towards the TDP’s objectives. “I urge both TDP and Jana Sena supporters to unite in our endeavour to bring about a change in government,” he concluded, rallying the troops for the upcoming elections.
