Election Commission on Friday reportedly issued a notice to Pragathi Bhavan officials over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao handing over B-forms from the official residence of the Chief Minister. Even on Friday, the Chief Minister gave a B-form to Talasani Srinivas Yadav at Pragathi Bhavan.
The notice was reportedly based on a complaint lodged by the Congress that ‘B Forms’ had been handed over at Pragathi Bhavan, in violation of the model code of conduct. Notice was allegedly served by District Election Officer of Hyderabad.
The complaint by TPCC senior vice-president G. Niranjan said Pragathi Bhavan was a public property and should not be used for political purposes as per the election code.
