Find scientific solutions to stop sea erosion at Uppada

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, K Pawan Kalyan asked the officials of Maritime board and astronomy ministry to ascertain scientific reasons for the sea erosion in the Uppada area.
The Deputy Chief Minister visited the Uppada village in Pithapuram constituency and surrounding areas and saw the sea erosion on Wednesday. He discussed with the MariTime Board, Central Astronomy Ministry (Earth Science Ministry) officials and revenue officials about the sea erosion issue.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan assured of extending all needed support in taking steps to prevent the sea erosion. He asked the officials to conduct a scientific survey and start the work. Appropriate instructions have been given to the authorities to find a permanent solution to the sea erosion.  
Surveyor Lakshmi Narayana explained to Pawan Kalyan that 84 acres of land had been merged into the sea due to sea erosion. He said that 1360 acres in 8 villages were affected by the sea erosion.
Collector Shan Mohan Sagili, MP Uday Srinivas and other officials and leaders were among those who accompanied Pawan Kalyan. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan was accorded a rousing welcome by the villagers.
Later, addressing a huge public meeting, Varahi, Pawan Kalyan asked the people not to expect miracles as they need some time to study and take action.
“People wish that all development works should be carried out at once but it is not possible. We want some time and we resolve the issue on priority basis,” he told the people.
The verdict of Pithapuram people has changed the political history of the country; he lauded adding that the alliance victory in AP has become strength to the NDA at the Centre.  
“Since I have so much love for rural areas, I have taken the Panchayat Raj and Rural development portfolios. I am studying ministries.  I told the officials that there is no need for me to take even a single rupee. I work sincerely and there will be no recommendations from my side,” Pawan Kalyan stated.
Pawan Kalyan promised the people of Pithapuram constituency to modernize the Yeluru Siddagadda project, development Puruhutika Sekthi peet as a spiritual tourism circuit. He also promised to construct a mirch crushing unit and a cold storage at Gollaprolu. The railway bridge issue at Kotagummam junction would be resolved, he said, stating he will speak to the Prime Minister on the issue if needed.  He also promised to develop the community health centre as a multi specialty hospital in Pithapuram.
