Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao directed officials to conduct the funeral of Gaddar with state honours as Gaddar played a key role in the Telangana movement. The CM ordered Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to make arrangements regarding this.
Earlier, the Assembly condoled Gaddar. The CM and IT Minister KTR deeply condoled Gaddar’s death.
Gaddar’s wife Vimala said that they will keep Gaddar’s body at the LB Stadium till 12 am (noon) on Monday.
The last journey will start after 12 am (noon) from LB Stadium to his school Mahabodhi, Alwal, via Jagjeevan Ram Statue, Basheerbagh Chowrastha and Telangana Martyrs’ Gun Park, where the body would be kept for some time to pay tributes to Gaddar.
Gaddar’s wife Vimala said that they will conduct the funeral at the Mahabodhi School as per Gaddar’s last wish. Gaddar’s family and artistes are making arrangements for the funeral at the Mahabodhi School. Medchal DCP Shabharish inspected the Mahabodhi School where the last rites would be conducted. Meanwhile, several political leaders, cine actors, artistes and leaders from people’s organisations paid their tributes to Gaddar at the LB Stadium.
