Garden parties serve as stress busters: NTR District Collector

NTR District Collector S Dilli Rao has said that the officials who are busy in their daily routine to achieve their targets under pressure need some environment once in a while like ‘Karthika Vana Samaradhana’ (Garden festival) will help give relief.

Collector Dilli Rao participated in the Karthika Vana Samaradhana programme along with the officials at Butterfly Park near Ibrahimpatnam on Sunday. During the occasion, the Collector and other officers planted above 150 saplings of medicinal plants which were brought from Kadiyam to Butterfly Park.

On the occasion, the Collector said that Vanasamradhana will help the employees get some pleasure out of their daily work stress. He said that officers will get good results if they spend at least some time with the family members in a pleasant atmosphere. Referring to Butterfly Park, the Collector said that they were chalking out a plan to develop the park.

He said that the butterfly park has 23 types of butterflies. He said that the park will be developed with Rs 50 lakh. Washrooms, benches, drinking water, and other facilities will be set up here, said the collector Dilli Rao.
