Good Governance Week to help provide better services

District Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh said that ‘Good Governance’ week would be organised in Eluru district from December 19 to 25.

Speaking on the occasion here on Monday, the Collector said that the objective of holding the ‘Good Governance’ week is to provide better services to the people. The Collector said that he reviewed the officials on providing the government services to the people in a better way.

The Collector said that the Central and state governments should work hard to bring the development and welfare programs that have been undertaken by the most ambitious to the people through better services.

Prasanna Venkatesh directed the officials to improve the services more to resolve the grievances of the people. He said that good governance week would be organized from the 19 th to 25th of this month with the aim of improving the services especially in the rural areas to solve the complaints of the people.

District Revenue Officer AVNS Murthy, DRDA PD Vijayaraju, Eluru RDO K. Penchala Kishore, Deputy Collector Suryanarayana Reddy and district officials of various departments participated in this program.
