Govt bringing revolutionary changes in edu sector: MLC

YSRCP State general secretary and MLC Lella Appireddy has said that the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government is bringing revolutionary changes in the education sector to provide education to the students at par with international standards.

MLA Appireddy, along with MLA Maddali Giridhar and Mayor Manohar Naidu, launched the distribution of tablet computers to the students at KSR municipal high school here on Thursday. They distributed the tablets to some of the students in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Appireddy said that the Chief Minister is making all efforts to make all children in the state educated and implementing many schemes in this regard. He said that the Chief Minister believes education would help to eradicate poverty. “For the first time in the country, the AP government has begun the distribution of tablet computers to school students. The AP government is implementing fee reimbursement to make education accessible to all poor students.

The credit for providing engineering and medical education to the poor students should go to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Appi Reddy asserted.

The government is also providing the best hostel facility and nutritious food to the students. The efforts of the Jagan Mohan Reddy government to provide the best education to the poor won the accolades of educationists and intellectuals, the MLC claimed. Due to globalization and digitisation, the whole world has turned into a small village, he said, adding that everyone should study English and reach heights in life. He exhorted the students to excel in education and reach heights by achieving their goals, which is the real gratitude they could give to the Chief Minister. He appealed to the parents of the students to extend all support to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Mayor Manohar Naidu appreciated the Chief Minister for his endeavours to make higher education accessible to the students of underprivileged sections.
