Govt giving equal importance to all faiths: Min

Health Minister T Harish Rao said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was giving inclusive approach towards all religions and castes, emphasising that the CM believes the country will only be good if all sections are good.

He participated in a prayer meeting of Christians at the LB Stadium along with MLC Rajeswara Rao. Minister Harish Rao also mentioned that festivals like Ramzan, Christmas, and Dussehra are celebrated together in the state. He said that a place has been allocated for the building of self-respect at Uppal Bagayat in Hyderabad.

Furthermore, the minister stressed that the Christian community was previously viewed as a vote bank, but now, CM KCR is working towards their welfare. He said that Christmas holidays have been officially announced, and the festival is being organised with the utmost care.

Minister Harish Rao assured the Christian community that the state government will provide a good place for the graves of their loved ones, just like in many other districts. He requested that any problems faced by the community should be brought to his attention.

The minister also highlighted the development of Telangana during CM KCR’s nine-year rule, mentioning that there have been no caste or religious fights. He emphasised that everyone is living together peacefully, and the government is implementing many schemes with the determination that the poor are the state’s religion. He sought everyone’s blessings and prayers for the development of Telangana, emphasising that the state’s progress should have the support of all religions.
