BRS leader Balka Suman said that in the past 15 days, four Gurukul students have committed suicide but the government has not responded so far. Ministers and MLAs are not paying attention to unions protesting there, he added.
Addressing the media, Suman said, “YouTube channels and intellectuals are unable to see the suicides of these students. Intellectuals must respond. People of Telangana should think. If such incidents happen, the Chief Minister is making trips to Delhi as if there are no problems in the State.”
He said that many promises have been made in the State but only one promise has been implemented, that is free bus travel for women. “Many villages do not have bus facilities. The CM is going to Delhi in special flights. Not a single notification has been given so far. But he is giving appointment documents to the notifications given by the former government,” Suman said.
“We have given the posts of staff nurses. We have given the posts of teachers. Revanth Reddy is taking all these into his account,” Suman said.
“The Chief Minister is of the view that the sooner the election schedule comes, the better.
Revanth Reddy is daily praying to Peddamma Talli that the election schedule be released early. Because if the schedule comes, the promises may not be fulfilled,” he said.
“If you have political anger, take political revenge on us but don’t show your anger on farmers. Many acres of crops are already drying up due to lack of irrigation water. Give them water.
This government sees an attempt to show that the Kaleshwaram project, which provides water to 15 lakh acres in the region, is a waste. I am directly asking Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to immediately implement the 420 guarantees along with the 6 guarantees given by you. Implement them before Parliament elections because the promises made by you in the name of election code cannot be implemented,” he added.
