Govt to release one DA for employees for Sankranti

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that one DA will be given to government employees on the occasion of Sankranti festival and arrears will be paid from April. The leaders of government employees associations and the Joint Action Committee met CM Jagan here on Wednesday and sought release of two DAs, pending dues and arrears. JAC chairman Bandi Srinivasa Rao and general secretary G Hrudaya Raju said that a delegation of the JAC led by them met CM Jagan, conveyed New Year wishes and further submitted a memorandum of their issues.

The two leaders said that they sought appointment of PRC Committee, clearing of 11 PRC pending dues, cancellation of Contributory Pension Scheme and restoration of Old Pension Scheme, exemption from face recognition norm to field staff and other problems.

They said that CM Jagan responded positively and announced release of one DA on the occasion of Sankranti festival, payment of arrears from April and assured to take measures to resolve other issues in an amicable manner.

A delegation of employees including AP Government Employees Association president KR Suryanarayana, association representatives G Oscar Rao and GM Ramesh Kumar has called on the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Wednesday and extended their New Year and Sankranti wishes to him.

CM Jagan has unveiled the diaries and calendars of various employees and teacher unions. Teachers MLC Kalapalatha Reddy, PRTU-AP president Giri Prasad Reddy and AP Secretariat Employees Association president K Venkata Rami Reddy called on the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Wednesday and extended their New Year and Sankranti wishes to him.

AP Civil Services Association president P Dharmachandra Reddy, representatives K Mohan Kumar and E Murali have called on the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Wednesday and extended their New Year and Sankranti wishes to him.

Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy were also present.
