Governor of Telangana and Jharkhand and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, CP Radhakrishnan, took part in the celestial marriage of Sri Rama Samrajya Pattabhishekam at the historic Sita Ramachandra Swami temple in Bhadrachalam temple town on Thursday.
In adherence to the tradition, the Governor offered pattu vastralu at the celestial coronation ceremony of Lord Sri Ram.
Speaking on the occasion, Radhakrishnan stated that he was blessed to witness the divine ceremony at the historic temple. The Governor called for the promotion of ideal human values embodied in Lord Sri Rama.
Earlier, Radhakrishnan had a darshan of the presiding deities at the Bhadradri temple and offered special prayers.
The priests who performed the Samrajya Pattabhishekam ceremony blessed the Governor with ashirvachanam and presented him with the temple prasadam.
Principal Secretary to the Governor B Venkatesham, Joint Secretary to the Governor J Bhavani Shankar, the Commissioner, Endow ments, the Collector and the SP of Bhadradri\Kothagudem district, and temple authorities were among those who accompanied the Governor during his visit to the temple.
