Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation decided to restore the ancient step well near Falaknuma bus depot.
HMDA and GHMC officials noticed the step well in the Falaknuma bus depot which has 300 years history. On April 3, officials of HMDA, GHMC and RTC, along with Kalpana Ramesh, who is participating in the step well restoration activities, visited the ancient step well inside the depot.
It was told that Nizam used this ancient step well which is very close to Falaknuma Palace as his personal swimming pool.
Telangana RTC, HMDA, GHMC on Wednesday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the renovation of Falaknuma bus depot step well.
