Social media influencer and actress Niharika NM is making her Telugu film debut with Mithramandali. Directed by Vijayanand, the film stars Priyadarshi, Vishnu Oi, Rag Mayur, and Prasad Behara in lead roles. Bunny Vas is the presenter, and Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala are the producers. The teaser was released on Thursday at a function in Hyderabad.
Popular producer Allu Aravind attended the event as chief guest and launched the teaser. On this occasion, Bunny Vas shared an interesting anecdote about how Niharika NM was finalized for the film. “We shortlisted five actresses and I planned to send their photos to Allu Aravind garu. When I sent the first photo—Niharika’s—he immediately said, ‘Take her. She’s the one. No need to look at others,’” Bunny Vas recalled.
He further revealed that Allu Aravind recognized Niharika instantly. “He said he knew her already because he watches her reels on social media,” added Bunny Vas.
Allu Aravind said, “My friends Bunny Vas, Bhanu Pratapa, and Kalyan Manthina have made a fun entertainer with Mithramandali. I’m here to support them and extend my best wishes to the entire team. Being around all these youngsters makes me feel young again. I believe director Vijay has a lot of potential.”
Praising actor Priyadarshi, Aravind added, “He is a dedicated actor and will have a long career.” He also shared a humorous confession: “When Bunny Vas showed me 4–5 pictures to pick the heroine for this film, I selected the first one, Niharika. I even follow her on Instagram with a fake account.”
RR Dhruvan has composed the music. The teaser is packed with fun and entertaining dialogues, and the team believes Mithramandali will certainly strike a chord with audiences.
