IKP Knowledge Park, Blockchain For Impact tie up for healthcare

IKP Knowledge Park, on Sunday announced a strategic partnership with Blockchain for Impact to join the BFI-Biome Virtual Network programme. This collaboration is aimed at nurturing young innovators and entrepreneurs in cutting-edge biomedical research and innovation to accelerate technology-driven healthcare interventions and outcomes for societal benefit. The MoU was exchanged on April 20, at IKP Knowledge Park by Dr Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman and CEO of IKP Knowledge Park, and Dr Gaurav Singh, CEO, BFI in the presence of Dr Sridhar Ramanathan, Vice-President, IKP, Dr Satya Prakash Dash, Senior Advisor, BFI and Dr Pooja Agrawal, Program Director, BFI.
Sandeep Nailwal, the founder of Blockchain For Impact, said, “With a dedicated US$ 15 million program for advancing biomedical research and innovation in India, the BFI-Biome initiative aims to bring leading researchers, technologists and innovators together in the form of a network to discuss, identify, collaborate, and innovate in the biomedical sector to solve pressing health challenges.”

Dr Gaurav Singh, CEO of BFI, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “IKP Knowledge Park’s state-of-the-art incubation support for deep tech innovators and entrepreneurs has enabled many Med-Tech startups. By partnering BFI-Biome seeks to support translational research projects with the potential to revolutionise healthcare.’’
