Jagan destroying dairy industry to help Amul: TDP

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has deliberately destroyed the dairy industry in Andhra Pradesh to promote Amul, said TDP national spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhiram here on Thursday.

Calling Jagan a psycho star, Kommareddy Pattabhiram told media persons at the party headquarters here that the Chief Minister is quite frequently changing his face only to loot the people and their properties. Now he turned into an Amul Baby only to hand over the properties of the AP Dairy Development Corporation and the other cooperative dairies, Pattabhiram added.

While entering into an agreement with the Amul company, Jagan made the people believe that lakhs of dairy farmers in the State will get benefit from this pact, Pattabhi said. But now the Chief Minister is driving the dairy farmers to turn slaves to Amul company, he said.

The Chittoor Dairy spread over 33 acres and the land cost itself is about Rs 500 cr, he said while the dairy has several chilling centres too. The total cost of Chittoor Dairy is over Rs 650 cr and how Jagan Reddy can lease out the company for just Rs 1 cr annually, he asked.
