Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak cheques distributed

Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar distributed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques worth Rs 34 lakhs to 34 beneficiaries in Nandigama Mandal. The distribution event took place at the Shadnagar MLA camp office on Monday.
The beneficiaries, hailing from various villages, including Veerlapally, Nandigama, Cheguru, Bandoni Guda, Narsappaguda, Mekagudem, Pittalaguda, Rangapur, Srinivasulu Guda, Buggani Guda, Bandoni Guda, and Venkammaguda, each received Rs. 1,16,000 under the schemes.
Addressing the gathering, Shankar emphasised the commitment of the Congress government to the welfare of the girl child.
He praised the swift implementation of the loan waiver programme by spending Rs 30,000 crores. The government delivered on its promise within six months of the government coming to power, a task previously deemed impossible over the past ten years. The MLA also pointed out that the Congress government has introduced a free bus service for women, ensuring safe and cost-free travel over long distances.
The event saw the participation of notable figures including former MPP Sivashankar Goud, President Janga Narasimhu Yadav, and local leaders such as Narsappaguda Krishna, Naveen Goud, Srihari Goud, and Anwar, among others.
