The dissensions between BJP senior leader and central executive committee member Kanna Lakshminarayana and BJP state president Somu Veerraju have come to fore as Kanna vehemently objected to the sacking of district presidents by Somu Veerraju.
Kanna Lakshminarayan objected to the manner in which Somu Veerraju sacked district presidents without discussing in the Core committee meeting and without informing him. He said that all the district presidents, who were removed, were appointed by him.“When I was the BJP state president, I got admitted many leaders in the BJP and they are quitting the party now. Somu Veerraju should respond on the same,” Kanna Lakshminarayana demanded while talking to the media here on Wednesday.
Kanna criticised Somu Veerraju for taking unilateral decisions for sacking district presidents. He questioned Somu Veerraju how he could replace district presidents without discussing the matter in the core committee. Kanna lamented that is not being informed about the party affairs, except the core committee meeting, he slammed.
Somu Verraju should explain why his close relative joined the Bhart Rashtra Samiti (BRS).
He also slammed MP GVL Narasimha Rao stating that his way of thinking is always different from the opinion of BJP activists. “We have seen the attitude of GVL on Amaravati farmers’ agitation,” he said.Kanna Lakshminarayana alleged that many Andhra Pradesh leaders are joining the BRS as part of a conspiracy hatched by AP Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR is making efforts to weaken BJP leader Bandi Sanjay in Telangana state while Jagan Reddy is doing the same here to weaken JSP chief K Pawan Kalyan, Kanna lambasted.
Kanna Said that all Kapu community people would extend support to Pawan Kalyan. He said that the AP government had passed GO 1 only to prevent Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit.
