The police destroyed 173 silencers of two-wheelers here on Wednesday.
The police removed 173 silencers which were used to produce heavy sound. The police during a special drive caught such motorcycles and removed the silencers, used to produce unbearable sound.
Some youths used the silencers to attract others by producing heavy noise. The 173 silencers were destroyed by running with a road roller.
