KCR diagnosed with minor stomach ulcer

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is suffering from an ulcer and was admitted to AIG Hospital on Sunday. KCR’s family said that KCR is in AIG Hospital as he was suffering from stomach ache from Sunday morning.

A special team of doctors conducted an endoscopy and other tests and found that KCR had developed a stomach ulcer.

AIG Hospital released a health bulletin on KCR’s condition. The bulletin said, “Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao developed abdominal discomfort on Sunday morning, and was examined by Dr D. Nageshwar Reddy, the Chairman of AIG Hospitals. He was brought to AIG Hospitals and a CT scan and endoscopy were done.

A small ulcer was found in the stomach and it is being managed medically. His other parameters are normal. Appropriate medication has been started.”

KCR’s wife Shobha, Rajya Sabha Member J. Santhosh Kumar, Minister Srinivas Goud, MLC P. Kaushik Reddy and CP Stephen Ravindra were at the Gachibowli AIG Hospital. KCR went to his residence Pragathi Bhavan in the evening.

The Governor, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, wished KCR a speedy recovery. She tweeted “Wish Chief Minister #KCR garu @TelanganaCMO speedy recovery & get well soon.”
