Must read

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that former Chief Minister KCR presented ‘financial cancer’ as a gift to the state. “If the cancer is getting worse does it mean the state is bankrupt? How long will they hide the truth?” the CM asked.
The CM said the BRS government was not sincere in addressing the problems of the unemployed. The hard work and commitment of the unemployed in the formation of the ‘People’s Government’ is praiseworthy, the CM said.
“When I disclosed facts, the opposition made a hue and cry and targeted me. The entire KCR family is uttering lies like a family package. I will not run the state on the basis of lies. I will share facts with you and try to develop the state. Your cooperation is required to build a bright future for coming generations in Telangana,” the CM said.
He said that job applicants wasted 12 years of their valuable time due to the negligence of the BRS government. The ‘People’s government’ filled 55,163 posts in the first year after assuming power. I am happy to say that the government provided a permanent solution to the unemployment problem which was one of the main factors behind the Telangana Movement, the CM said.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy handed over appointment letters to the newly recruited 1,292 Junior Lecturers and 240 Polytechnic Lecturers on Wednesday in Hyderabad at a function held at the Ravindra Bharathi.
Speaking on this occasion, the CM said the future of the country is in its classrooms. The future of the country’s economy is linked to education. It is commendable that all of you received appointment letters in the Education Department.
The CM said the government resolved the issue of transfers and promotions of teachers which had been pending for a long time and also introduced reforms in the Education Department.
The CM said that declining educational standards is a matter of great concern which is also embarrassing for the state. All newly recruited teaching staff should do their jobs well and raise educational standards with the same drive they showed during the Telangana Movement, Revanth said.
The CM said that government schools and colleges should compete with private schools. Student enrolment is declining in government schools every year and increasing in private institutions. I am appealing to the teaching staff to think seriously about this issue, he said.

The CM said spending money on students is not an expenditure but an investment in the future. There is a need to examine the reasons behind the decline in the number of students studying in government schools, he said.

The CM said the government is setting up 55 Young India Integrated Schools to raise education standards in government schools and has allocated Rs 11,000 crore for it.

He said the government is setting up Young India Skills University to improve the skills of students and the unemployed. There is a need to develop Telangana so that it can compete with the world.

Along with the Young India Sports University, the Government is also setting up the Young India Sports Authority aiming to win medals at the Olympics. We are ready to encourage those who excel in sports, the CM said.

The government relaxed rules and gave a job to international cricketer Siraj. World boxing champion Nikhat Zareen was also given a DSP rank post in the police. A government job and house site was allotted to Deepti Jivanji who excelled in the paralympics, the CM said

“Some people are talking about stature. Leaders who spoke about stature are lying on stretchers now. Stature is for posts and not for people. Our government inherited the debts and blunders of the KCR admin. The government has to pay Rs 6,500 crore every month to clear debts and the interest on loans taken by the BRS government,” the CM said.
