BRS Secretary General K. Keshavarao said that all party leaders have to take the BRS to the people.
Addressing the BRS General Body meeting held at the Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, Keshavarao said that the strength of the BRS is party leader KCR and its activists.
He said that BRS activists played a great role in the overwhelming victory of the BRS in the last Assembly elections and the BRS flag should be carried by leaders and activists working together to bring the party to the people.
He said that BRS leaders should overcome their shortcomings and sharpen their skills and that the country needs KCR’s visionary leadership.
KTR is making Hyderabad great. He said that the reconstruction of the Yadadri Temple, the installation of the 125-foot Ambedkar statue and the construction of the new secretariat were undertaken successfully.
He said that water in the rivers used to go into the sea, but under KCR, the rivers are now flowing to fields and getting diverted to houses to meet the needs of irrigation and drinking water supply.
He said that KCR was able to do things in 9 years that were not done in 75 years. He said that while Modi is allowing Adani to ‘loot’ the country, KCR is using funds for the poor’s welfare.
He said that there is no other person like KCR who explained the availability of water resources and rivers in the state like an engineer on the screen.
He said that the Standing Committee of the Parliament appreciated the revolutionary changes in the field of medicine and the reforms brought by Telangana in public health.
He said that KCR won the hearts of BRS workers with the Atmeeya sammelans undertaken to strengthen the party. KCR is a progressive leader who does not want nationalization but the goal of the BRS is the development of the country, he added.
