KCR means trust, Congress means theatrics: Harish Rao

Must read

“KCR means trust and Congress means theatrics,” said Minister for Finance T Harish Rao while speaking at an election meeting on Friday.
Speaking at an election meeting at Jammikunta, the Minister came down heavily on the Congress and the BJP. He appealed to the people to elect Padi Koushik Reddy for the all-round development of the constituency. All surveys showed that Koushik Reddy would win with a thumping majority. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has ushered in the welfare regime in the State to end poverty. The Congress and the BJP did never try to protect the interest of Telangana State. The State would be pushed into darkness if the Congress or BJP came to power, he pointed out.
KCR, Harish Rao said, has decided to introduce several new programmes for the welfare of the poor people. The BRS government, after the elections, would introduce the Sowbhagya Lakshmi scheme, to provide Rs 3,000 to women. The Chief Minister announced life insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh to each of the 93 lakh beneficiaries who are below the poverty line. He also promised to enhance healthcare assistance to Rs 15 lakh under Aarogyasri. The manifesto unveiled by the Chief Minister was greater than the six guarantees announced by the Congress.
If the Congress party came to power, the party high command would pull strings from Delhi, he said. The people would have to bow to the Delhi rulers if the Congress and BJP came to power. The Congress government in Karnataka has been supplying power to the farm sector for just 5 hours. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Sivakumar admitted that his government was able to provide only 5 hours of power to the farm sector, Harish said.
In Huzurabad, Koushik Reddy would win with a thumping majority. The Congress would be relegated to the second place and the BJP third place, he predicted. Koushik Reddy is enjoying the confidence of the Chief Minister. He would ensure the all-round development of the constituency.
Harish Rao took Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president A Revanth Reddy to task for trying to stall the Rythu Bandhu payouts to the farmers on the pretext of a code of conduct. The Congress would provide only three hours of power to the farmer sector if it came to power, he said.
