Seeking explanation on the source of information about a planned attack against him, the Krishna district police issued notices to JSP chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday.
Pawan Kalyan has been expressing concerns about a potential attack for a while, including in his recent speeches.
Krishna district Superintendent of Police P Joshua issued notices to Pawan Kalyan to clarify his information.
The SP mentioned that they had not received any response from Pawan Kalyan so far, implying that the allegations might be unfounded and intended to incite fear and unrest in society.
He emphasised that making irresponsible and baseless accusations would lead to serious legal consequences. The SP also highlighted the police force’s intelligence and surveillance capabilities, asserting their ability to take action against any anti-social elements when identified.
The JSP chief recently claimed that there were planned stone attacks against him during the ongoing Varahi Yatra in Pedana, which prompted the police to issue notices seeking an explanation from him.
