The lawyers here on Monday lodged a complaint with the Nagarampalem police station against Telugu Desam party former MLA Batyala Chengalrayudu for making derogatory comments against the police and the judiciary.

Speaking to the media, Senior Advocate, Bar Council Member Vattijonnala Brahma Reddy, State Leader of YSRCP Legal Cell Poluri Venkata Reddy, Senior Advocate Vemula Prasad said in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu, former TDP MLA Batyala Chengalrayudu spoke humiliating the judiciary and the police. But Naidu did not even try to prevent him nor condemn his comments,” the lawyers said.

The lawyers said that Chandrababu Naidu, who claims to be forty years in politics, has no real faith in people and democracy. They accused Naidu of destroying all the systems while managing the systems during his 14 years tenure as Chief Minister. Chandrababu’s ambition is to come to power once again, they criticized. Now Naidu is dreaming of coming to power by unfair means, they flayed.

“The statements of Naidu during his recent Kurnool visit made it clear how passionate Naidu is to become the Chief Minister of the state again. The lawyers stated that the TDP ex-MLA blamed the ruling party leaders for using objectionable language. It is not fair to the leader who claims that he had 40 years of political experience keeping quiet when his party leaders accused the judiciary and the police, the advocates lashed out.

The lawyers asked Naidu what kind of message he wants to give society by maintaining silence. “The TDP ex-MLA’s comments amounted to encouraging the leaders to mislead the courts. Changalrayudu and Naidu should not be forgiven for their act of humiliating the judiciary,” they criticised.
