Minister RK Roja came down heavily on TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh for what she called baseless criticism of the ruling YSRCP during his padayatra. She alleged that Lokesh’s ‘padayatra’ has lost its sheen with poor response from the locals.
On this occasion, she said that there were no crowds for Lokesh ‘padayatra’ and there were no in-charges for TDP in the Chittoor district. She said that Lokesh should know his level and speak and not act like a madman with a stone in his hand. Roja challenged Lokesh to contest in Chittoor.
She recently responded to Nara Lokesh’s welcoming to Jr NTR to enter politics. He made it clear that TDP is not Chandrababu’s fiefdom. She sarcastically said that TDP is NTR’s party and now they understand that the party will not survive unless Jr NTR joins the party. In the wake of the failure of Lokesh’s ‘padayatra’, the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh are afraid of Pawan Kalyan touring Varahi and might become a hero. So the TDP is criticising Pawan Kalyan, alleged Roja.
With the MLC elections in AP fast approaching, the YSRCP ministers and key leaders met in Tirupati on Sunday. RK Roja, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Narayana Swamy, regional coordinator of the party Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, and others attended the meeting held at the PLR Convention Centre.
