Stating that the lotus will blossom even in mud, the Union Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur, said that the BJP will win the next Assembly elections in Telangana.

Thakur said that the ‘Minimum Governance–Maximum Corruption’ in Telangana under Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s BRS government cannot be tolerated. Thakur reminded KCR about his statement that he will chop off his head if he cannot implement his election promises. Thakur said that KCR gave jobs to all his family members although he had assured that he will provide jobs to every household.

Chatting with journalists on Sunday at the Telangana State BJP office in Hyderabad, Thakur asked KCR why he is not implementing the promise to appoint a Dalit as the CM, give three acres to Dalits, provide double bedroom houses to the poor, give unemployment allowance etc. Thakur said that Telangana did not get the fruits of its sacrifices. He said that the time has come to kick out the BRS and that Telangana is now a hostage in the hands of a family.

He said that Telangana has fallen behind under KCR’s regime and that the KCR government is blaming the Centre for not cooperating with Central schemes although the Modi government is extending full support.

He said that the people of the State had been looted by the KCR family.

He asked what happened to the promise to construct super speciality hospitals on all four sides of Hyderabad city. He also asked what had happened to the assurance given to journalists that they would be provided houses.

Earlier, Thakur visited the Charminar Bhagyalaxmi Ammavari temple and held special poojas. Addressing the media there, Thakur said that the BJP is gaining ground in Telangana. He said that he was happy to get the blessings of Ammavaru.
