Ajay Kallam, Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister, has said that in the backdrop of the special deadline given by the government, all the eligible people should apply for regularisation of ‘Sada Bainama’ documents.
He said that there are lakh people who purchased land but did not obtain title deeds and they should make use of the opportunity to get their right documents. A one-day training programme for select Deputy Collectors, Tahsildars, Deputy Tahsildars and other revenue staff from all districts was organised at Land Administration Department Chief Commissioner’s Office on regularisation of ‘Sada Bainama’ documents. Land Records and Survey Settlement Commissioner Siddharth Jain and Ajay Kallam launched the newly designed ‘Sada Bainama’ regularisation book with complete information while the conference was jointly organised by the Centre for Land Rights and Land Survey Department of Nalsar Law University.
On this occasion, Chief Advisor Ajay Kallam said that it is the responsibility of the officials to take advantage of the opportunity given by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the poor farmers. He appealed to the farmers to get their lands regularised according to the provisions of the ROR Act.
Land Records and Survey Settlement Commissioner Siddharth Jain said that the regularisation of ‘Sada Bainama’ is applicable only to agricultural lands in rural areas. Small farmers who purchased lands before the end of October 2021 are eligible. If there is a dispute over land rights, it is not possible to regularise the lands. He appealed to the officials to make full use of the State-level training programme and conduct re-training programmes at the district, division and mandal levels.
