Malla Reddy may join BJP after Lok Sabha results

Must read

BRS MLA Malla Reddy is likely to join BJP after results of Lok Sabha elections are announced.
He has been in touch with in-charges and top leader of Delhi.  Officials have been taking action against alleged encroachments by the ex-minister and this has made Malla Reddy sleepless. Even as he was out of town, on Friday, Revenue and Irrigation officials of Shameerpet mandal demolished a seven-acre compound wall allegedly built by Malla Reddy in the Full Tank Level (FTL) area of the Peddacheruvu water body in Bomraspet village. BRS MLA claimed that it is his land even though it is lake’s FTL. It was just six days ago when Malla Reddy and his son-in-law Marri Rajashekar Reddy were arrested for destructing the compound wall built in a disputed land in survey number 82 near Suchitra.
It is reliably learnt that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided not to admit him into the party. It is possibly due to the comments made by Malla Reddy against Revanth during BRS regime. Moreover, it is learnt that when Malla Reddy met advisor of CM, he reportedly said that he will go meet Rahul Gandhi. This didn’t go down well with the local leaders. Furthermore, he went and met DK Shiva Kumar, who didn’t give any reassurance. Moreover, in the war of one-upmanship, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao is opposed to the admission of Malla Reddy into Congress. It is reliably learnt that Malla Reddy got in touch with the BJP leaders prior to the election itself and was going to join with about 4 MLAs. However, the state BJP leader opposed this move. Sources in BJP said that Malla Reddy will join within a month after results are announced as he has nowhere to go. Sources said that Malla Reddy already apprised KCR about all his meetings. It is only matter of time. Moreover, Malla Reddy has reportedly taken care of BJP cadre even during BRS regime.
