Minister hands over ex gratia cheques

Minister for Housing Jogi Ramesh, on Sunday, handed over ex-gratia cheques to the kin of those who died in an accident that happened in Jampani village of Bapatla recently.

Jogi Ramesh visited the victim’s families in Neelipudi of Kruttivennu mandal in Krishna district on Sunday. Following the directive of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the State government sanctioned a total of Rs.25 lakh as ex-gratia, Rs.5 lakh each to five families. He handed over the cheques to the families.

Jogi Ramesh said that the State government quickly reacted to the demand for ex-gratia. “Under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the State government is striving for the development and as well as welfare of people,” he said.
