Minister for Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Damodar Rajanarasimha said that necessary medicine and tests should be made available for the prevention of dengue, malaria, chicken pox and other viral infections. Awareness programmes should be organised through Gram Sabhas to prevent TB and leprosy. He held a review meeting on the State Medical Health and Family Welfare department on Tuesday at Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
Raja Narasimha said Primary Health Centres (PHC) should be strengthened. The authorities should work efficiently to increase the number of deliveries in government hospitals. Hospitals of rural and urban areas should be improved. “We should take care of maternal-child care.
