Congress MLA Danam Nagender has been booked by the Jubilee Hills Police in a case of trespassing in Nandagiri Nagar, Jubilee Hills on August 10.
According to an FIR accessed by The Pioneer, the incident occurred on August 10 and a complaint was filed by V Papaiah, incharge of the Enforcement department at Buddha Bhavan, Hyderabad, with Jubilee Hills Police.
The complainant alleged that unidentified persons illegally demolished a compound wall at Nandagiri Hills, Jubilee Hills. The wall, located on government land (GHMC property), was part of a layout with some local residents from Guru Brahma Nagar trespassing and tearing down the wall.
It was alleged that MLA Nagender was present during the incident and provoked the individuals involved, including Gopal Naik and Ramchander, two others accused.
The demolition caused an estimated financial loss of around Rs 10 lakh, said the complainant.
Sub-Inspector B Harishwar Reddy registered a case invoking Sections 189(3), 329(3), 324(4) r/w 190 BNS & Section 3 of the PDPP Act. The investigation has been entrusted to SI K Govardhan Reddy.
However, when The Pioneer contacted the Jubilee Hills Police, they denied the allegations.
