YSRCP state general secretary and MLC Lella Appireddy asked the YSRCP conveners to take the government welfare schemes to the people and strengthen the party from the booth level.

Addressing the conveners meeting here on Wednesday, Appireddy said that the volunteers should strive hard to take the welfare schemes being implemented by the government to the people. They ensure that all eligible people should get the benefits of welfare schemes. The YSRCP convenors should make people aware of the welfare schemes, he told them.

“Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy provided employment opportunities to lakhs of unemployed youth by launching the secretariat and volunteer system in the state,” praised.

Appireddy congratulated the newly appointed conveners stating that the conveners would replace the previous booth committees of the party. Apart from that, he concluded that it is the responsibility of the conveners to take every issue related to the party to the people. Keeping this in mind, Appireddy stated that only when the convenors work with dedication, the party structure at the field level would be strong.

MLA Appireddy said that the party would definitely undertake a program to give due recognition and respect to those who are working honestly and sincerely for the strengthening of the YSRCP. He made it clear that it is enough to sensitize the people by spreading the facts only and called for participation in making Guntur West an ideal constituency for the YSRCP in the state.

Guntur City Mayor Kavati Manohar Naidu asked the newly appointed conveners to ensure that the party programmes are conducted properly and to liaise with the secretariats to bring good name to the government and the party. He asked the conveners to play a key role in every party programme. MLA Maddali Giridhar also spoke.
