Pointing out that people have seen thieves stealing gold and money, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that people are now seeing thieves robbing even dead bodies under the KCR government.
Women are unable to walk on roads and the lives of women have no value in KCR’s rule, Sanjay said.
He said that women of Telangana don’t have even the value of KCR’s daughter Kavitha’s watch. The value of KCR’s daughter’s watch is Rs 20 lakh but the government gave only Rs 10 lakh as ex-gratia to the family of medico Preethi when she died, Sanjay said.
Sanjay staged a protest at the State BJP office here on Monday protesting atrocities committed on women. He said that rapes and atrocities against women have increased. The BRS government has failed to maintain law and order, he said.
Sanjay said that Telangana was created with women’s Vanta-Varpu programmes and the sacrifices of their sons. But now the same women are living in fear after the formation of Telangana. The women fear that BRS goons will come and rape them, Sanjay said.
He said that KCR doesn’t mind even though women are being raped and murdered in Jubilee Hills, Nirmal, Manthani and other places in the State.
“KCR will not respond on atrocities committed against women although rapes and murders are taking place every day. But KCR responded to the Hijab incident in Karnataka.
“KCR what do you have to say about your words, ‘I will pull out the eyes and eyelids of anyone who stares at women,” Sanjay asked.
He said that the UP government is demolishing the houses of criminals who trouble women in Uttar Pradesh and the same will be done in Telangana too once the BJP comes to power.
“We will bring UP model administration in Telangana. We will demolish the houses of people troubling women. We will provide protection to women by demolishing the houses of those who trouble women,” Sanjay said.
He said the BRS government is watering down the Preethi case. The parents of the ST woman made her study medicine after selling their farm but she was murdered. The police are now sabotaging the case as per the CMO’s directions. The government is trying to make the killer a hero, he said.
Sanjay said the government destroyed evidence after opening Preethi’s mobile phone with her fingerprint after she died. The government has not clarified even now how Preethi died.
He said that KCR is a wicked man who made the police shift Preethi’s dead body to NIMS even though she had died at the MGM Hospital and her corpse was given sham treatment for five days.
“KCR did this when I was touring Warangal,” he said. The government also conducted Dr Preethi’s funeral in a hurry by not giving her body to her parents and also not allowing relatives to see her body.
“Why is KCR not conducting a probe by an HC judge if the government’s hands are clean,” he asked.
“KCR’s son KTR, aka Twitter Tillu, we will not let go of drug addict Twitter Tillu,” Sanjay said. He said that KTR has no right to criticise him.
Sanjay said that an ordinary party worker can become the Chief Minister or Prime Minister only in the BJP and added that the BJP is the only party that respects women. He said that BRS leaders are running wild with assaults and rapes.
“What should we think if BRS leaders think that whatever we do will be forgiven if we wear the BRS scarf,” Sanjay said.
“Looking at the CM, if the BRS comes to power again it will not be surprising if it gives incentives to those who rape, kill and attack women. The BRS is full of crooks. The BJP will fight if injustice is done to women. We are building self-confidence in them. Rallies and dharnas are being organised across the state to support women. This time women have decided to teach the BRS, the Congress and the AIMIM a lesson. They are confident that justice will be done if the BJP comes to power. This protest was held to reassure them. All those who commit rapes and murders are in the BRS. KCR is trying to portray Preethi’s case as a minor incident. That is why Telangana has become the state with the maximum murders and rapes. The National Crime Bureau’s reports prove this,” Sanjay said.
