Monday Mirchi : CM wary of action against bureaucrats

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy does not want to rub bureaucrats the wrong way. This perhaps explains why so far he has not taken action against Arvind Kumar, who is in the dock for alleged misdeeds as principal secretary in the previous dispensation. The CM is wary of the fact that any precipitate action taken against bureaucrats purely out of vendetta or sheer prejudice may cause instability in governance and division among bureaucrats. A little bird told us that the CM has asked people close to him to find out the relations between Arvind and former minister KT Rama Rao. It is learnt that Revanth Reddy just wants to know if there were any financial transactions with KTR or his brother-in-law and the bureaucrats in the dock. For newbies, Arvind was holding a key position in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi regime, but is left with ‘disaster management’ post regime change.
