National Cadet Corps (NCC) 16th Andhra Battalion celebrated the 75th Raising Day at the Police Training Centre at Tapasipudi in Machilipatnam on Sunday. As part of the celebrations, the cadets participated in a blood donation camp.
Speaking on the occasion, 16th Battalion Commanding officer Lieutenant Karnal Sansar Singh said that NCC cadets were bestowing valuable services to instill patriotism and discipline among the people. He said the NCC was the largest youth organisation in the world. It celebrates Raising Day on November 27.
Red Cross district secretary B SankarNath, Medical Officer Hanumanthayya and Pattabhi Red Cross blood bank personnel were present.
