New Deputy Collector Jyothi Surekha joins duty

International archer, Arjuna Award winner and newly appointed NTR District Deputy Collector Vennam Jyothi Surekha assumed office on Monday. Her first programme was the State government’s prestigious Spandana, held at the collectorate in Vijayawada on Monday.

She attended Spandana programme along with District Collector Dr S Dilli Rao, Joint Collector S Nupur Ajay Kumar and other district officials. She submitted her joining report to the Collector after the State government issued posting orders recently.

She sat beside the Collector and observed the Spandana programme. She was assisted by other district officials in receiving petitions from the public.

She presented resurvey kits to the village surveyors along with the Collector Dilli Rao and the Joint Collector. Also, she participated in various programmes conducted at the Collectorate.
