New emotions are introduced in the Inside Out 2 trailer

Must read

Inside Out 2 has a brand-new trailer that Pixar has released. Although the first glimpse revealed anxiety, the trailer also shows other emotions, including envy, boredom, and embarrassment. These feelings are expressed by Paul Walter Hauser, Ayo Edebiri, and Adele Exarchopoulos as Riley navigates her adolescent years.
The trailer opens with joy, anger, fear, and disgust—emotions we are all familiar with. However, Anxiety, played by Maya Hawke, soon introduces more mayhem.
The new emotions gain traction, and Operation New Riley is put into action, but things don’t go as planned. Joy, anger, fear, and disgust manage to release themselves somehow, and they set out to aid Riley. Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling are replaced in the sequel as Fear and Disgust, respectively, by Tony Hale and Liza Lapira.
Teenagers’ thoughts are depicted with additional emotions in the trailer. Riley and her pals, along with everyone else, adore this high school hockey player, and Lilimar Hernandez gives her voice to him. Riley’s parents, Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan, are back. Riley’s closest friends are voiced by Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green and Grace Lu, and Coach Roberts, the director of a hockey camp, is portrayed by Yvette Nicole Brown.

Inside Out 2 director Kelsey Mann emphasises that anxiety won’t just go away and teases the impact of the new character. Though anxiety may be a recent addition to the team, Mann noted that anxiety is not one to be taken lightly. The release date of Inside Out 2 is scheduled for June 14, 2024.
