Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty were married on November 22, 2009. The actress has since heard remarks that seem to suggest she married Raj for his money. The actress has now, at last, replied to these remarks.
The Indian Police Force actor shared her personal experience in response to the stereotype that women marry for financial gain. According to Google, Shilpa revealed that Raj was the 108th richest British Indian when they got married. That didn’t alter the fact, though, that she was wealthy and content without him. Shetty has acknowledged the value of having a stable relationship.
Shilpa Shetty revealed in an interview, “However, I don’t suppose anyone remembered to Google Shilpa Shetty, who was also extremely wealthy at the time. I pay all of my income tax bills, GST, and other expenses because I am wealthy now.”

Shilpa went on to say that a successful woman does not look for financial gain in a partner. The actress revealed that, despite Raj’s wealth, money had never been her determining factor in life. “And, by the way, there were richer people than him who were wooing me at the time,” the actor said in closing. “However, in my life, money has never truly been the decisive factor for anything.”
