However, while fans were abuzz with speculation about her possible inclusion in Chiranjeevi’s next project with Dasara director Srikanth Odela, sources close to the production have firmly dismissed those claims. According to reports, the team behind Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film has clarified that Deepika is not being considered for any role in the venture, putting an end to the swirling rumours in film circles.
Meanwhile, confirmation of Deepika’s presence in Spirit has sparked excitement among fans, especially after her critically praised Telugu debut in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. In that futuristic epic, she portrayed the role of Su-Mo, earning accolades for her intense performance alongside cinematic giants like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
Now, the Pathaan actress is all set to dive into a gritty cop universe with Spirit, where director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reportedly offering her a well-layered and substantial character. As per other reports, Deepika was deeply impressed by the detailing in both the script and her role.
