Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Kandukur constituency in-charge Inturi Nageswara Rao has alleged that development has come to a halt during the Jagan Reddy regime as the government had focussed only on welfare schemes.

The TDP leaders organised the ‘Badude Badudu’ programme in Kandukur on Sunday. The TDP leaders and activists holding flexi banners raised slogans against the YSRCP government. They alleged AP was lagging behind in sectors because of the wrong policies of the state government. The TDP activists also held a house-to-house contact programme.

Speaking on this occasion, Nageswara Rao said that the 5th ward area is completely backward in development, if cement roads were laid during the TDP regime, not a single work was done after YCP came to power.

He deplored that due to unhygienic conditions in the ward, people are suffering from diseases, adding that so is the situation in the state. “ Jagan Reddy is neglecting the development and only focusing on implementation of welfare schemes,” he alleged.

The people of the state would face difficulty to live in the state as the government had borrowed huge loans, criticised. Instead of taking steps to enhance the income of the government, it is wasting money. He assured steps to resolve all the problems of the people if the TDP is voted to power. Town TDP president Dhama Malleswara Rao and other leaders were present.
