‘Not bitten by mad dog to join NDA’

Must read

We don’t need Modi’s NoC to change CM, asserts KTR

Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said that the BRS has not been bitten by a mad dog to join the NDA. Reacting to the PM’s statements on Tuesday, KTR said, “The PM said our CM went to him to get permission to make me Chief Minister. I want to remind the PM that if we have to take any decision regarding our party that is done by our legislators and our politburo. Why do we need a NoC from you?”

Reacting to statements of avoiding the PM and not following protocol, KTR said, “If the Prime Minister can stoop so low and tell white lies why should we meet him? He lowered his stature by speaking outright lies today. A PM displaying such blatant dishonesty is utterly disgraceful.”
“Modi claimed that KCR sought his permission to appoint me as CM. Why do we need your permission for any decision to be taken by our party and its leadership,” asked KTR. KTR said that the Modi-led BJP is the biggest jhuta and jhumla factory in the country. “The Prime Minister should try his hand at storytelling and scriptwriting. He stands a good chance of winning an Oscar,” KTR said.
“Modi’s inconsistency is evident. If the BRS funded the Congress in Karnataka, what was the IT and Income Tax department doing,” he asked. Reacting to the statement of Modi that it is not in the “character of KCR” to be courteous KTR said, “The PM doesn’t understand courtesy. Generally, we are very courteous. He is an unwanted guest for the people of Telangana.”

KTR ridiculed the comments of Modi who said that the BRS does family politics. He added that the Prime Minister is suffering from selective amnesia. Quoting a list of examples, KTR said that CM Prakash Singh Badal and Deputy CM Sukbir Singh Badal could align with the NDA, PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti and her daughter Iltija Mufti could also join the NDA, former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh may find a place within the NDA, Sena Chief Udhav Thakre and Aditya Thakre can be a part of NDA.

“But the PM turns a blind eye to these facts and only targets the BRS, “he said. “When the PM talks about family politics, one must ask about Jay Shah who is controlling Indian cricket as the BCCI Secretary,” KTR said.

KTR said that whichever State the Prime Minister visits, he ends up calling its Chief Minister the most corrupt leader. The BJP has earned a reputation as India’s leading party for making empty promises and high rhetoric.

He pointed out the unfulfilled promises made by Modi for 2022 like doubling farm income, achieving a USD 5 trillion economy, providing housing for all, creating 2 crore jobs annually and retrieving black money. He said that Modi has done nothing for Telangana. He denied national project status to irrigation projects, scrapped ITIR and questioned Telangana’s very existence, KTR said.

He said that the people of Telangana would give a befitting reply to the BJP.

“BJP tourists are welcome to visit Telangana. During the last election, the BJP lost deposit in 105 seats and this time they will lose deposit in 110 seats and will not win even a single LS seat here,” KTR said.

KTR said that the NDA was a sinking ship. “Parties like the Shiv Sena, the TDP, the JDU, and the Shiromani Akali Dal have already left the NDA and at present only the CBI, the ED and the IT Department are with the NDA,” said KTR.

He asked what happened to the cases levied against Hemanth Biswas, Srujana Choudary and Jyotiraditya Scindia. He said that the BRS was democratically elected twice and formed the government. This would continue and KCR will become a hat-trick CM soon, he added. He said KCR was a fighter who would never like to have any kind of connection with a cheater like Modi who is known for speaking lies.
