India needs a double impact government and not a double engine one, Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said.He said that the double engine claim of the BJP is intended only for publicity but double impact is for the people.Speaking in the Assembly for nearly two hours on Saturday, KTR said, “Definitely a Kisan Sarkar will be formed at the Centre under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao next time in India.”
He said the BJP claims that miracles are happening in double-engine states but the fact is that there is power and water shortage in all BJP-ruled states. Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor’s address instead of KCR, KT Ramarao made it clear that BRS rule is nothing but family rule.
Giving a sharp counter to the opposition’s criticism that KCR’s family rule is going on in the state, KTR said, “Yes, there is family rule in Telangana.He said that is why the opposition is saying that the BRS rule is family rule and added that the BRS accepts the opposition’s criticism of family rule.
KTR said that unlike any other state KCR is giving pensions to the grandparents of all families and is supporting them like an elder son. He said that he is taking care of four crore people like a sibling.
KCR, who is providing “quality” education to children through gurukulas and colleges, provides eyesight to the elderly and supports single women like an elder brother by giving them pension.
He said that KCR also provides financial assistance to 12 lakh people through the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes.“Welfare and development go hand in hand in Telangana. Rural development goes along with urban development. Information Technology grows along with agriculture exports and industry is growing and at the same time steps to protect the environmental are being taken,” KTR said.
Targeting Prime Minister Modi and the BJP, KTR said that the Gujarat government has been announcing power holidays for industries.“We are for Rythu Rajyam but the BJP wants Corporate Rajyam. We will campaign across the nation and our war cry will be the slogan “Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar,” KTR said.

I haven’t seen an atrocious Prime Minister like Modi anywhere else. The entire nation is now looking at KCR. There are no leaders and economists in the nation who do not like KCR. A leader has to work with a vision and not change dresses three times a day,” he said.
KTR said that Modi made tall promises of providing housing for all, electricity to all, doubling of farmers’ income, bullet trains, and a USD five trillion economy by 2022. But now the BJP has failed and it has shifted its goalpost to 2047, he said.
