The NTPC Ramagundam Celebrates 47th Raising Day and Marks Milestones of Excellence in Energy, Sustainability, and Community Impact.
In Ramagundam On thursday celebrated its 47th Raising Day in grand fashion, marking a significant year in the station’s illustrious history.
The 40 years of Unit-1 operational excellence and NTPC’s 50 years of pioneering leadership in the Indian power sector was highlighted.
This will be three days celebrations from November 14 to 16 which will include laser show, drone show and grand cultural events.
The Raising Day celebrations started with morning walk from PTS NTPC in the leadership of Kedar Ranjan Pandu, RED (South) and ED (R&T) followed by Flag Hoisting, and cake cutting ceremony at Ramagundam.
The event saw senior leaders, including all GMs, HOHR, Babar Salim Pasha, Central NBC Members, senior members of DMS, representatives of unions & all employees.
World Quality Pledge was also observed virtually in the leadership of KS Sundaram, Director (Projects) by all the employees.
Recent addition of Telangana Plant (2×800 MW), dedicated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March 2024. Further expansion is already in progress, with Phase 2 (3×800 MW) set to begin shortly.
With a growing footprint in renewable energy, NTPC Ramagundam now boasts India’s largest 100 MW Floating Solar Project.
