Prakasam district Collector Thameem Ansariya directed the officials concerned to complete the construction of houses by December 10.
The Collector held a video conference with Mandal Special Officers, Municipal Commissioners, MPDOs, APDs and APOs on the progress of housing construction, survey related to MSME (establishment of micro, small and medium enterprises), and construction of individual toilets, inspection of school toilets and other issues.
Speaking on this occasion, the Collector directed the officials to work in coordination to achieve the targets and to expedite the construction of houses for poor families in the district. As the inauguration ceremonies of one lakh houses are being held across the State on December 12, the target of construction of 3,800 houses in the district and so far the construction of 1436 hours has been completed.
The Collector instructed the officials to take steps to complete the construction of the remaining houses by December 10 by setting daily targets. Collector Thameem Ansariya ordered the officials to conduct a survey related to MSME (establishment of micro, small and medium enterprises) in the district. The commercial, business, service sector institutions and manufacturers in the district should be fully aware of the MSME survey, she told them.
“As part of the survey, the staff of the Gram Panchayat Secretariat and Ward Secretariat will have to conduct a survey at the field level through a mobile app,” the Collector said. She ordered that during the survey process, details related to employment generation, turnover, current bank loan facilities and subsidies related to the respective industry should be included through the survey app. Housing PD Srinivas Prasad, Industrial GM Srinivasa Rao and ZP CEO Chiranjeevi DWAMA PD Joseph Kumar and other officials were present.
