Over 40 trains diverted due to water overflow

Due to water overflowing at danger level between Hasanparthi and Kazipet on Thursday, the South Central Railway has suspended train movement in the section of both directions as a precautionary measure and the critical route connecting Secunderabad, Hyderabad to Delhi via Balharshah, regular train movement was affected.

As a result, until 6 pm on Thursday, five trains were cancelled, four were partially cancelled, two trains have been rescheduled and over 40 trains have been diverted through alternate routes.

The cancelled trains are Train 17012 Sirpur Kagaznagar to Secunderabad and train 17233 Secunderabad to Sirpur Kagaznagar on Thursday while train 17234 Sirpur Kagaznagar to Secunderabad on Friday has been cancelled.

The partially cancelled trains include train 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar, train 12762 Karimnagar-Tirupati, train 12757 Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar and train 12758 Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad.
