Patriotic fervour on show at rally carrying massive Tiranga

A rally carrying a massive 3,303-foot-long Tricolour, taken out in Vijayawada West constituency on Wednesday, spread patriotic fervour in the city. MP Kesineni Shivnath and City West MLA Sujana Chowdary, who led the rally, urged the people to hoist the national flag at their homes as per the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dundee Ganesh Seva Samiti organised the massive Har Ghar Tiranga rally that started from Labour Colony Grounds and proceeded to Panja Centre via Sitara Centre, Chittanagar, KBN College. MP Sivanath said, “As a member of the Parliament of India, I am very happy to participate in the Independence Day celebrations with all of you.  
This rally, which was held to increase the unity of the country, is beyond caste and religion taking inspiration from the heroes who laid down their lives in the freedom movement and to inspire the present generation.”
MP Sivanath said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon everyone to join the Har Ghar Tiranga programme. He said that the sense of nationalism among today’s youth has increased. The purpose of the Har Ghar Tiranga programme is not only to develop patriotism, but also to make this generation aware of the freedom struggle.
MP Sivanath, along with former MLC Buddha Venkanna, former MLA Jalil Khan, TD State Commerce Department president Dundi Rakesh, BJP NTR district president Adduri Sriram, TD State leaders Nagul Meera and MS Baig, and thousands of students from various educational institutes and colleges carried the 3,303-foot Tiranga, chanting ‘Vande Mataram’.
