Pawan Kalyan to juggle OG shoot and HHVM promotions in Mumbai

Must read

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is all set to make his pan-India debut with the much-anticipated historical action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM), which is slated for release on June 12, 2025. As the big day approaches, the film’s team is gearing up for an extensive promotional campaign to generate nationwide buzz.

According to recent reports, Pawan Kalyan will soon be heading to Mumbai for the next shooting schedule of his upcoming film OG. Interestingly, he is also expected to kick-start promotions for HHVM during this visit. Buzz suggests that the actor has agreed to attend one or two promotional events outside of the Telugu states, a rare move that signals the importance of HHVM’s wider release strategy.

The film, produced on a massive budget, is being released in five languages — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Promotional efforts in Hindi-speaking regions, especially Mumbai, are crucial to give the film a strong foothold across India. If producer AM Ratnam successfully organiSes a promotional event in Mumbai with Pawan’s presence, it could significantly elevate the film’s visibility in North India. Pawan’s increasing popularity beyond the South is an added advantage. Over the past several months, he has drawn considerable attention in North India, particularly due to his vocal support for Sanatana Dharma. Many now regard him as the “Sanatana Reformer” — a public figure advocating traditional Hindu values with conviction.

This image complements the thematic core of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is set during the Mughal era under Emperor Aurangzeb. The narrative follows a rebel warrior’s journey to protect Dharma and the film’s tagline — “Battle for Dharma” — further highlights this ideological battle. These themes are expected to resonate with audiences across the country, especially those interested in historical and cultural narratives.

Promoting HHVM in Mumbai isn’t just symbolic — it could be strategically vital for the film’s success in the Hindi belt. With Pawan’s growing recognition and the film’s spiritual undertones, a well-executed campaign in North India may significantly boost the Hindi version’s box office prospects.
