APNGO Association president Bandi Srinivasa Rao has said that the State government has not paid DA and other dues since 2018. He said that the government should pay employees’ salaries on the 1st of every month and demanded that pensions be released prior to employees’ salaries. The government should maintain decency in addressing the employees’ problems.

Speaking to media persons on Friday, he said that he would discuss with employees’ associations and JAC leaders and announce their next action plan to get their long-pending issues resolved. He made it clear that the APNGO Association has been fighting to safeguard the interest of the employees.

Recalling the meeting with CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, Bandi Srinivas Rao, general secretary KV Siva Reddy’s panel was elected once again unanimously and met the CM. On the occasion, various pending issues pertaining to the employees were brought to the notice of the CM.

He said that a memorandum was submitted to the CM to appoint a committee for the 12th PRC and also brought up various issues like the pending DAs from July 1, 2018 to July 1, 2021, pending DAs that should be announced on Sankranti for January and July 2022 besides arrears of the 11th PRC and GPF, APGLI loans, revising retirement age for the public sector and university non-teaching employees from 60 to 62, regularising the services of contract and outsourcing employees, declaring probation to the remaining village and ward secretariat employees and other pending issues, he said.

Srinivas Rao found fault with the AP Government Employees’ Association (APGEA) president Suryanarayana for talking about other employees’ associations and advises that there is nothing wrong in bringing the problems of the employees to the notice of the Governor.

He said that the AP NGO Association is a very old association and was formed many years ago. He further commented that all employees know about APGEA and how it got its permission.
Srinivas Rao recalled that APGEA president Suryanarayana got the government job through the compassionate appointment orders obtained by the AP NGO Association.

Srinivas Rao said that he would urge the Chief Secretary to revoke the recognition of the APGEA chaired by Suryanarayana. He said that there are rules and regulations to pay employees’ salaries on the 1st of every month, but the government is not following them.
